What’s good for the goose is good for the goslings
Geese at the Lions Club Fishin’ Hole aren’t an unusual sight, but right now several goslings can also be spotted. It takes just a few hours for the hatchlings to begin swimming, just as their parents do. The young birds grow quickly, so they won’t be adorable balls of fluff for long. Remember, grown geese can be quite aggressive when protecting their young, so use caution and keep a respectful distance when viewing at the pond or elsewhere. In the coming weeks, the goslings will eat, grow and learn to fly.
