Whiskey Kate adds to racing entertainment at PC Raceway
When sprint cars, stocks, modifieds, sport mods, hobby stocks, compacts and dwarfs hit the Phillips County Raceway track in Holyoke for the season opener Saturday, April 14, at 6 p.m., musical entertainment by Whiskey Kate will be added to the evening fun.
An insert in this week’s paper features the April 14 showdown details, and the flipside of the insert promotes the full season schedule.
New to the Raceway arena for the April 14 event is Katy Grace, who goes by Whiskey Kate as she entertains with country and blues music.
Whiskey Kate will perform the national anthem and will sing at intermission at the opening races, as well as afterward in the beer garden.

She describes her music as Janis Joplin, with a little bit of twang.
