Wild Colorado weather doesn’t disappoint

Even though Coloradans know the state has a reputation for unpredictable weather, that doesn’t mean people weren’t taken by surprise with snow, freezing temperatures, tornadoes, hail and rain — all within one week of each other.

Rain poured down around dinnertime, with Holyoke recording 1.11 inches of moisture for the day, according to official weather observer Dan Kafka.
Phillips County emergency manager Bob Heldenbrand said the National Weather Service also reported two tornadoes that touched down briefly in Phillips County on Monday.
