Book fair open Mon.-Thurs.

Holyoke Elementary School is gearing up for the “Happy Camper” Scholastic Book Fair next week. Monday-Thursday, March 6-9, students and adults can buy books at the fair, which will benefit the elementary school library. Last year, over 300 books were added to the library as a result of the book fair.

Monday and Tuesday, the book fair will extend through parent-teacher conferences in the evening. Wednesday and Thursday, the book fair will run from 45 minutes before school starts until 45 minutes after dismissal.

Librarian Terri Biersdorfer promises there will be books for every reader, adults included. Each elementary teacher has a classroom wish list for parents who would like to purchase a book for their child’s class.
