Golf tourney to benefit Crime Stoppers

The Logan County Crime Stoppers is hosting its 30th annual golf tournament Sunday, May 7, at Riverview Golf Course in Sterling.

The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. A catered lunch will follow. There will be door prizes, pin prizes and payouts for first and second places according to flights.

Proceeds from the tournament support the Logan County Crime Stoppers program, which has been a part of the recovery of more than $78,000 in property and $17,000 in narcotics in Logan County. Crime Stoppers has paid out rewards of more than $23,000 in the past due to generous donations. The golf tournament is the organization’s only fundraiser of the year.
