JH Dragon track competes in Akron

Holyoke junior high track raced, leaped and threw at the Akron Invitational Thursday, April 13.

Out of 10 competing teams, Holyoke boys placed first and the girls sixth.

1600 meter run — Kyleigh Jaeger, fifth, 7:00.07.
100 meter hurdles — Kylie Purkeypile, second, :19.37.
4x100 meter relay — Giselle Prieto, Chloie Metzger, Ashley Rahe and Jacqui Gonzalez, fifth, 1:04.22; Adrianna Chaney, Chaparro, Miranda Schroetlin and Kristin Vieselmeyer, eighth, 1:07.37.
