Girls golf awards program held

Members of the 2017 Holyoke High School girls golf team were honored at an awards program held last Thursday, May 25.

Coaches for the 2017 season were Marcia Dalton and Nick Flaa.

Junior Grace Dille competed in the state golf tournament May 22-23, as well as being recognized as an All-Conference golfer. Brenna Sullivan received All-Conference honorable mention.

Letterwinners for the 2017 season were Dille, Sullivan, Dominique Penzing and Regan Van Overbeke, who represented the team at the regional tournament, where they placed eighth.

Golfers recognized for their participation are Tayler Hale, Savannah Burris, Emily Chaney, Anna Jelden, Juana Penzing, Daniela Baeza and Logan Osborne.
