Races Friday, July 14, at PC Raceway

Next up in the Friday night series at Phillips County Raceway are IMCA races July 14. Heat races will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Holyoke.

On the schedule are modifieds, sport mods, stock cars, hobby stocks and compacts. Each of the divisions have some tight competition in the point standings. The results of this Friday’s races will, of course, contribute to local raceway standings.

With five nights of racing behind them already and six to go at PCR this season, modifieds drivers A.J. Vallim, car 22t, and John Burrow Jr., car 28, are tied in the first place position with 175 points.

Competing in the sport mods division and driving car 18c, Ryan Moser’s 187 gives him a 17-point lead. Kyle Clough, car 11k, and Michael Brunswig, car 32m, are tied with 176 points in stock cars.

In hobby stocks, Tanner Clough has an 18-point lead with 179 total. Shalanda Smith, car 1B, has the lead in sport compacts with 172 points.
