MMHF scholarship winners announced for 2017-18 upcoming school year

Melissa Memorial Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the 2017-2018 scholarship recipients. The foundation has awarded eight scholarships for the upcoming school year.

To receive an MMHF scholarship, all recipients must be pursuing degrees in the medical field.

All scholarships awards are $500.  

This is the second year for awarding the MMHF Gloria Heinitz Scholarship. This scholarship is only awarded to MMH employees who are furthering their education while working at MMH. The foundation is honored to be carrying on the legacy of Heinitz through those achieving higher goals in their medical profession with priority given to nursing applicants who are following in her steps.

MMHF Gloria Heinitz Scholarship recipients include:

—Tiffany Maelzer, Grand Canyon University. Tiffany is currently a registered nurse at MMH and has worked at MMH since June 2012. She will be completing her bachelor of science in nursing this coming August.
