Barrel racing added to fair
With a rider count of 84, there was plenty of barrel racing action in the Phillips County Fairgrounds arena Thursday, July 27.
The Phillips County Fair event kicked off with exhibition riders, tiny tot participants and youth racers.
In the open division, the jackpot total was $3,480 and was paid to the top five riders in 1D, 2D, 3D and 4D.
Jackpot for the youth was $130, which was paid to the first two placings in each division.
