Club Report

   FCCLA recently held a barbecue to welcome back previous members and to recruit new chapter participants. The barbecue was held Aug. 25 in the high school commons area.
    This event included a presentation from all FCCLA officers, along with the chapter adviser Karen Ortner. Activities of the barbecue included an icebreaker game, an introductory presentation from the officers, a team-building exercise, a presentation from Ortner and a burger dinner.
    Highlights for the year’s plans include the FCCLA fall and winter conferences, highway cleanup, ideas for chapter community service projects and FCCLA national competition in Atlanta, Georgia, next summer.
