Holly Daze ushers in Christmas season
    The 55th annual Holly Daze event — sponsored by Jolly Dozen FCE Club — will fill Holyoke JR/SR High School with a variety of booths selling crafts, gifts, holiday items and more from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.
    
Craft fair to benefit Bethesda Homes
    Saturday, Oct. 28, Zion Lutheran Church in Holyoke will be hosting the Bethesda Craft Fair from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Bethesda Homes of Colorado for people with developmental disabilities.

Elementary school collecting shoes, pennies
    In the spirit of giving, Holyoke Elementary School has two opportunities for both students and community members through the end of November.
    New or gently used shoes of any size are being collected for a community in Missouri where former art teacher Christina Martinez is now teaching.
    A penny drive is also accepting coin donations to help hurricane victims in the U.S. who have lost school supplies.

Big Boy Toy Show set for Saturday
    Everything from whiskey to weapons will be featured by over 30 vendors at High Plains Radio’s Big Boy Toy Show Saturday, Oct. 28, at Phillips County Event Center from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
    
Coat drive going on at Viaero
    Viaero Wireless is looking for coats for all ages to be donated to their fourth annual coat drive. Coats should be dropped off at 106 S. Interocean Ave. by Saturday, Nov. 18. Additionally, anyone needing a coat can pick one up from Viaero at any time.
