First-round 1A winners advance

     Eight teams advance to the 1A 11-man state football quarterfinals Saturday, Nov. 11, with all games to be held at 1 p.m. at their respective sites.
     Bennett shut out Highland 48-0 and will play at Paonia, who defeated Peyton 13-0.
     Strasburg defeated Wray 35-6 and will host Burlington, who shut out Platte Canyon 41-0.
     Centauri ended Colorado Springs Christian’s season with a 21-7 win and will take on Monte Vista, who won in a close game with Clear Creek 39-34.
