Recipe Train

Joyce Huss has been making this easy four ingredient jalapeño poppers recipe for over 10 years. Huss suggests if the jalapeños are too hot, put the sliced peppers in ice water and refrigerate a few hours.

Jalapeño Poppers

    15 jalapeño peppers
    1 pound Jimmy Dean sausage
1 8 ounce package cream cheese
    1/3 cup parmesan cheese

Cut peppers in half lengthwise and remove seeds.
Brown sausage, drain grease and put back in pan.
Add cream cheese. Once melted, add parmesan cheese.
Stuff peppers with mixture and bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes.
