Recipe Train

Heather Bieber says this is her “go to” dessert for potlucks because it is super easy and she always knows she won’t have to bring any home.

Death by Chocolate

1 package brownie mix
2 eggs
2/3 cup oil
1/4 cup water
2 packages instant chocolate pudding mix
4 cups milk
1 12 ounce container cool whip
1 package candy of your choice (Heath pieces, Reeses pieces, Oreos)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x9 pan. Combine brownie mix, eggs, oil and water and spread into pan. Bake 30-35 minutes. Let cool.
Combine pudding mix and milk. Stir two minutes and refrigerate to set.
Crush or chop candy into pieces if necessary.
Once brownies have cooled, cut into bite-size pieces. In a trifle dish, layer ingredients beginning with brownie bites, then chocolate pudding, cool whip and candy pieces. Sometimes I even get fancy and drizzle chocolate or caramel syrup.
Repeat layers 1-2 times and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!
