Donate baby items to Empty Crib Campaign during Christmas season
    In celebration of the birth of Jesus, A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center is coordinating its Empty Crib Campaign during the Christmas season. The nonprofit is collecting newborn baby clothes, diaper bags and diapers that will benefit babies throughout the year.
    Items can be dropped off at A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center’s Holyoke location at 246 S. Interocean Ave., Suite 204, from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesdays. For more information, call 970-854-4335 or 970-842-4324.

School begins holiday break Friday afternoon
    After attending morning classes Friday, Dec. 15, students at Holyoke Re-1J School District will begin their holiday break. In 2018, teachers will have an inservice Tuesday, Jan. 2, and students will resume class Wednesday, Jan. 3.
    
4-H hosts fun event for grades 3-6
    Students in grades 3-6 should plan to attend the “Be Somebody” program hosted by Phillips County 4-H from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, at Phillips County Event Center. Fun, hands-on activities — noodle hockey, amoeba tag and more — will be used to teach important values. To RSVP, call 970-854-3616.
    
Enterprise wants to celebrate recent grads
    The Holyoke Enterprise welcomes news announcements from students who have recently graduated from a college, university, military program or other post-secondary school.
