Lights dazzle in 2017 contest

As usual, the people of Holyoke have created a hub of Christmas splendor with their outdoor lights and decorations. Some lights were strung, others were projected. Characters came in both 2-D and 3-D form. Inflatables were a popular choice, and some stood taller than a house.
Taking first-place honors in the 26th annual competition were Jeff and Olga Sullivan at 805 S. Bowman Ave. Earning second place were Ben and Kayla Kafka at 210 S. High School Ave. Third place went to Thom and Julie Elliott at 701 W. Johnson St.
