Cheer clinic holds true to the claim ‘little and loud’
From the smallest 3-year-olds to sixth-graders on the verge of moving up to the next level, the task of leading the crowd in cheers fell on the shoulders of about 50 enthusiastic little Dragons at Holyoke’s most recent home basketball game.
From Jan. 16-18, participants in the Holyoke cheer clinic perfected their routines at evening practices. During halftime of the varsity boys basketball game against Yuma on Jan. 19, they flooded the gym to demonstrate what they’d learned, and fans went wild.
