Imperial ladies retreat brings back Murphy

    A familiar face to both church members and the community will be the featured speaker at this Saturday’s Imperial Bible Church Ladies Retreat in Imperial, Nebraska.
    Mary Murphy of Tulsa, Oklahoma, will be the day’s featured speaker on the subject of “I Finally Wanted What I Got: Learning to be Content in a Discontented World.”
    Her husband, Bill, is a former pastor at Imperial Bible Church, and the couple has spent their entire married life in ministry.
    She has won awards for her writings, including the Book Club Network’s Book of the Year for “Joseph: Beyond the Coat of Many Colors.” She also earned SELAH Best Bible Study of the Year recognition.
