Emerald Award winners announced
    After nominations made by Holyoke School District employees and a selection process conducted by local program sponsors, three school staff members have been announced as the 2018 Emerald Award winners. Nancy Miles is the Innovator of the Year, Shauna Brown has been named Leader Among Us, and Cyndi Bahler will be recognized with the Heart Award.
    Recipients will be showcased in a special section in The Holyoke Enterprise Thursday, April 26, and will be honored at a public reception that evening at the Peerless Center.

Lincoln Day Dinner combines with Republican County Assembly
    Sunday, March 25, is set for the Lincoln Day Dinner and Republican County Assembly at Phillips County Event Center in Holyoke. Rescheduled honor band is Monday
    Musicians from 11 schools in northeast Colorado will be presenting an honor band concert Monday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the HHS auditorium. The concert had to be rescheduled due to bad weather earlier in the year. Guest clinicians are Dr. Matthew Dockendorff, associate director of bands at University of Colorado Boulder and director of the Golden Buffalo Marching Band, and Chris Leonard, assistant director of bands at Poudre High School.

    Phillips County Arts Council art show will be open for public viewing at Holyoke High School Friday, March 23, 4-10 p.m.; Saturday, March 24, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Sunday, March 25, 1-4 p.m.
