Easter services set

    A number of church services are scheduled in the community throughout Holy Week, culminating in Easter Sunday, April 1.
    
Emerson St. Church of Christ
    On Easter Sunday, the regular service begins at 10 a.m.
 

Fairfield Covenant Church
    Everyone is welcome for an 8:30 a.m. Easter morning breakfast. The 10 a.m. service will follow.
 

First Baptist Church
    A Good Friday service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on March 30. On Easter Sunday, a sunrise service begins at 6:30 a.m., and the regular service is at 10 a.m.
 

First Christian Church
    Church youth will be serving breakfast from 7-8:30 a.m. The Easter morning service is scheduled for 9 a.m., with no Sunday school.
 

First United Methodist Church
    On Thursday, March 29, there will be a love feast potluck at 6 p.m. Easter morning will feature an 8:30 a.m. worship service, a 10 a.m. Easter egg hunt and a 10:30 a.m. worship service.
 

Holyoke Assembly of God
    On Good Friday, there will be a 6:30 p.m. service. Resurrection Sunday will include a 9:30 a.m. breakfast and a 10:30 a.m. service.
 

Holyoke Church of Christ
    Easter Sunday will have the regular 9:30 a.m. worship service.
 

Pleasant Valley United Methodist
    On Good Friday, a love feast is scheduled for 6 p.m. On Easter Sunday, meet at county roads 54 and U at 6:10 a.m. for the sunrise service, with breakfast to follow. The worship service will begin at 11 a.m.
 

St. Patrick Catholic Church
    On both Holy Thursday and Good Friday, mass begins at 7 p.m. An Easter vigil is scheduled for Saturday, March 31, at 8 p.m., and Easter Sunday mass is set for 8 a.m.
 

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Amherst and Venango
    The two churches will hold a combined Maundy Thursday service in Amherst at 7 p.m. The combined Good Friday service will be in Venango, Nebraska, at 7 p.m. On Sunday, a 6:30 a.m. sunrise service is scheduled in Venango and a 9 a.m. Easter service is scheduled in Amherst.
 

Venango Community Church
    There will be an Easter breakfast Sunday at 8:30 a.m., with the service to follow.
 

Vida Abundante
    On Easter Sunday, the regular worship service will be held at 5:30 p.m.
 

Zion Lutheran Church
    Each day through Friday, March 30, there will be noontime prayer. A Maundy Thursday service is scheduled for 7 p.m., a Good Friday service of light at 7 p.m., and an Easter Sunday service at 9 a.m.
 

Zion Lutheran Church Ministerio Hispano
    The regular service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday.
