Bible quizzers wrap up season, place 15th at Missouri regionals

    After competing at the regional tournament in St. Joseph, Missouri, March 23-24, local Bible quizzers wrapped up an excellent 2017-18 season.
    Youth Challenge, who coordinates the area quiz league, put together a team to compete against the top quizzers from the Midwest. Eighth-grader Miranda Schroetlin and sixth-grader Joseph Schroetlin represented Holyoke on a team with Windsor and Grant, Nebraska, quizzers. They placed 15th out of 23 teams.
    Leading up to regionals, Holyoke’s team placed second out of five teams after participating in four local quiz meets — Oct. 14 in Grant, Nov. 11 in Grant, Dec. 9 in Holyoke and Jan. 13 in Windsor.
