Raceway opener postponed again
Weather has not been a friend to Phillips County Raceway this spring as the season opener has been postponed for the second time.
Sunday, April 22, at 2 p.m., promoter Joe Bellm said, they hope track conditions in Holyoke will find the opening races on target. The IMCA divisions of modifieds, stock cars, sport mods, hobby stocks, sport compacts, plus dwarf cars are set to race.
While weather is potentially coming in over the weekend, Bellm said they’re taking a chance that the track conditions will be good to go Sunday.
