Elementary fine arts end school with showcase
    Fifth- and sixth-graders will be featured in a Student Spotlight Wednesday, May 23, at the elementary school gym at 6:30 p.m. The evening will include a band concert and art show.
    Art by kindergartners through fourth-graders will be on display and auctioned off Friday, May 18, from 11:15-12:45 p.m. in conjunction with field day and the spring elementary barbecue. The public is invited to attend both events.
    
Centennial seeks community input
    To better serve its counties, Centennial Mental Health Center wants to hear from active community members and genuinely listen to their advice and expertise. Organizers would like to form stakeholder groups. The intent is to hear from individuals from all walks of life, so these groups should be highly diverse and inclusive.

    Centennial Mental Health Center provides behavioral health services to Cheyenne, Elbert, Kit Carson, Lincoln, Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington and Yuma counties. Services include behavioral health service programs, outpatient therapy, community support programs, crisis intervention, emergency response, substance use disorder treatment and child/adult/family counseling.
