Sunday races for kids, fathers, fans

    Kids night, Father’s Day specials and fan appreciation are all targeted for the Sunday, June 17, races at Phillips County Raceway at the fairgrounds in Holyoke.
    Races will begin at 5 p.m. sharp, and the action will be fast and furious.
    Dwarfs racing will join the six IMCA divisions, including late models, modifieds, stock cars, sport mods, hobby stocks and compacts.
    Kids should bring their bikes, as bike races as well as a tire roll are slated for intermission time at Sunday’s event.
    Additionally, fan appreciation will give fans the opportunity to visit with the drivers and see their cars up close after the races, on the back side of the grandstands.
