Swimmers 2nd at Colby meet

    Weather in Colby, Kansas, ended up cutting the June 23 swim meet short, but with 96 events completed, Holyoke finished second. Team scores were Goodland with 331, Holyoke 302, Burlington 275, Colby 155, Wray 88, Oberlin 82, Oakley 73 and Flagler 8.
    Highlighting Holyoke’s performance was one new record set by Keegan Shaw. He finished the 400-meter freestyle in 4:57.71.
    This Saturday, June 30, will be the last regular meet of the Northwest Kansas Swim League season in Wray. The league meet is scheduled for July 6-7 in Burlington.
