Row by Row prize claimed

    As the 2018 Row by Row quilting experience draws to a close, Holyoke’s Creative Traditions has awarded its prize for the first completed quilt. Barbara Crom of Colorado Springs is the winner of 25 fat quarters for her accomplishment.
    This year’s theme of Sew Musical is evident in her quilt, which features eight unique rows from eight different participating shops. One of the rows came from the Creative Traditions pattern “Bovine Ballet,” designed by shop owner Julie Haake. Other rows in Crom’s quilt were created with patterns from stores in Colorado Springs, Monument, Fort Morgan, Loveland and Fountain, as well as Hurst and Arlington, Texas.
