Summers memorial tree planted at courthouse

    A coffee tree was recently planted on the Phillips County Courthouse square. It sits immediately north of the courthouse and west of the communication center.
    Phillips County was contacted this summer by Melvin Duke, grandson of Bertha Fae Summers. He relayed the story that his grandmother often told her grandkids about fond memories of playing on the steps of the Phillips County Courthouse when she was a little girl.
