Holyoke JV, C boys see weekend basketball action

    Junior varsity and C boys basketball teams saw action over the weekend when the Dragons hosted Haxtun Friday, Jan. 11, and traveled to NJC in Sterling to play Limon Saturday, Jan. 12.
    Junior varsity split, defeating Haxtun 36-29 and falling to Limon 27-34. C team played only one game, falling to Haxtun 17-21.

    Holyoke defeated Haxtun in JV action Friday, winning 36-29 in a three-period game.
    Both teams scored 12 in the first quarter in a balanced scoring effort. HHS outscored the visitors 7-4 and 17-13 in the next two periods to claim the seven-point win.
