JR/SR high students compete at Akron knowledge bowl
Holyoke students traveled to Akron on Feb. 1 to compete in knowledge bowl with a number of schools from northeast Colorado.
The high school team placed seventh out of 17 teams. Team members included Diego Jimenez, Tristen Ferguson, Baylor Struckmeyer, Johny Quintana and Alex Vieselmeyer. In the high school division, Akron A took first, Peetz A second and Akron B third.
