JV girls basketball ends perfect season with Burlington, Yuma contests

     Holyoke’s girls junior varsity basketball team finished its season undefeated after games last Tuesday and Thursday against Burlington and Yuma.
    
Holyoke JV 57, Burlington JV 31
     The girls saw a handy victory over the Cougars last Tuesday, winning by 26 points.
     The game was brisk, with Holyoke earning a 19-point advantage in the first quarter and holding on to it through the third. In the last quarter, the Dragons added seven points to their lead and won 57-31.
     Correy Koellner led in total points with 12, Lauren Herman scored 11, Emali Torres 10, Kylie Purkeypile eight, Ashley Rahe seven, Yeidi Juarez four, Taylor Trumper three and Janessa Lutze two.
