The Skillet honored for food safety excellence
The Northeast Colorado Health Department recently recognized several community members and facilities across northeast Colorado for their dedication to public health and excellence in food safety. NCHD hosted an award ceremony Thursday, April 4.
NCHD kicked off its annual award reception by honoring the Public Health Shining Stars. This award is given by NCHD staff members to acknowledge the efforts of individuals that champion public health in their own communities. It is an opportunity for the agency to acknowledge that public health extends far beyond the efforts of the agency alone.
