Soccer season wraps up

    Soccer teams playing in the City of Holyoke recreation program wrapped up their season this last weekend. The 14 and under team hosted its last game May 10, and the younger teams played their final games against one another May 11.
    Well over 100 youth participated on the 12 teams. Coaching the preschool-kindergarten teams were Dusty Sprague, Eric Luedke, Laura Beth Schroetlin and Sasha Lopez. Grades 1-2 were coached by Paolo Mallari, Jade Goldenstein, Trisha Herman, Wendy Favela and Luz Nuñez.
    Diana McCormick, Broc Lueth, Kathleen Lueth and Sasha Lopez coached grades 3-4. The 14 and under team was coached by Jay Rains and Shawn Maloney.
