Memorial Day services scheduled in Venango

    Memorial Day services will be held at the Venango, Nebraska, cemetery on Monday, May 27, at 10:30 a.m. A cold cut luncheon will be served at the Legion Hall following the ceremony.
    Keynote speaker will be retired District Judge Dan Kaup, Holyoke High School class of 1969. Music will be performed by Heather From, HHS class of 2004. Sophomore Ashlyn Marcum, HHS Voice of Democracy participant, will read her essay.
    Military honors will be performed by Venango American Legion Post 270.
