50 fun things to do in Holyoke this summer

There’s nothing to do in Holyoke!
I hear that all the time, and it’s just not true. There’s plenty to do here, especially in the warm summer months.
Just to prove my point, I’m reviving a bucket list that printed in the Enterprise several years ago. There are some new things to try as well as some oldies but goodies.
These are great ideas for date nights, family activities or simply a way to kill some time on a lunch break. No more excuses! Go out and have some fun before summer’s over!
50. Play tennis.
49. Start training for the mini triathlon Saturday, July 13.
48. Find as many peach recipes as possible before FCCLA delivers their Colorado-grown peaches in August.
47. Try your luck at Bingo, hosted by the Lions Club the second and fourth Sundays of the month.
46. Invite your friends to a painting party at Prairie Winds Art Center.
45. Snag a spot on the First Baptist Church lawn for the July 4 fireworks show.
44. Play disc golf at Homesteaders Park.
43. Grab a bite to eat at Holyoke Chamber of Commerce’s Hot Dog Wednesdays.
42. Pick out your favorite classic car at Dandelion Daze on the courthouse lawn.
41. Enjoy a warm summer night at Phillips County Raceway.
