Holyoke’s Babe Ruth team wins Border League tourney
Border league baseball wrapped up the summer season this last weekend with tournaments in Chappell, Nebraska, June 27-29. Holyoke had a team in each of the three age levels: peewee, Little League and Babe Ruth.
In the Babe Ruth bracket, Holyoke won its first game against Oshkosh, Nebraska, on Friday and went on to beat Haxtun Red to win the championship Saturday.
