Fun all around
Nothing says community quite like a citywide party with plenty of food, games and fun.
Holyoke joined other cities across the country for National Night Out Tuesday, Aug. 6, as a way to enhance relationships between neighbors and law enforcement.
Approximately 400-500 people filled Holyoke City Park for the event, which was organized by Holyoke Police Department in partnership with Holyoke Chamber of Commerce and Star 92.3.
Activities ranged from a street dance and barbecue dinner to a water fight and bounce house. Law enforcement and first responder crews were also on hand to give tours of emergency vehicles.
