Bonanza brings out book-lovers of all ages seeking a bargain at Heginbotham Library

The carriage house at Heginbotham Library  was the place to be Sept. 7, as the annual Book Bonanza was hosted by Friends of the Library. Christina Banaka, pictured at left, and her daughter Lucy Vasquez were among the many kids, parents and grandparents perusing the section of children’s books at the sale. Everything from mystery to romance could be found at a good deal for the shoppers, who left with the added perk of knowing their purchases support the library. A second day of second-hand book shopping will be held Friday, Sept. 13, noon-5 p.m.
