Holly Daze to fill school Saturday

The 57th annual Holly Daze craft and gift show will usher in the holiday season Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Holyoke High School. A large variety of vendors from Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska and Wyoming will be set up throughout the school, and lunch will be available. The event is sponsored by Jolly Dozen FCE Club.

Workforce Salute to feature YOU

The Holyoke Enterprise is preparing a new special section called the Workforce Salute. It’s an opportunity for all local businesses to recognize and honor their employees. This includes everything from downtown storefronts to home-based businesses to farming operations and more. For more information, to reserve a spot and to schedule an employee photo, contact Brenda Brandt at 970-854-2811 by Friday, Nov. 1.

Coat, food drives hosted by Viaero

Adult and children’s coats are now being accepted through Friday, Dec. 6, at the annual coat drive at Holyoke’s Viaero. Anyone in need of a coat can stop by the store anytime and pick one up, as well.

Community members can also drop off nonperishable food donations at Viaero or Melissa Memorial Hospital through Friday, Nov. 15, for the annual food drive. All donations will be given to local food banks.

Oct. 26 is Drug Take Back Day

Anyone participating in the Saturday, Oct. 26, Drug Take Back Day is encouraged to use the free MedSafe disposal system, located in the clinic lobby at Melissa Memorial Hospital.
