Citizenship prep classes begin Monday

Phillips County Family Education Services is offering free citizenship preparation classes at their classrooms in Phillips County Event Center in Holyoke. The classes will be Monday evenings from 6-7 p.m. beginning Feb. 3. Child care is also available. For questions, call 970-854-2595.

 

Farm and Home Show is Saturday

The 10th annual Farm and Home Show, hosted by KSTH, is Saturday, Feb. 1, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Phillips County Event Center in Holyoke. There will be lots of door prizes and lunch served by local 4-H members. There is no charge for admission.

 

Creative Traditions collecting socks, PJs and undergarments for women, children

In the month of February, Creative Traditions will be collecting new socks, PJs and undergarments for women and children. The items will be donated to the Help for Abused Partners women’s shelter in Sterling. Donations can be dropped off at 115 S. Interocean Ave. in Holyoke Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

 

3-on-3 basketball tourney is Feb. 17

The City of Holyoke Recreation Department is taking advantage of a day with no school to host its third annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament. It’s set for Monday, Feb. 17, at Holyoke High School.
