County passes 200 COVID cases

Northeast Colorado showed an 11.4% increase in positive COVID-19 cases since last week’s report, with Phillips County recording 12 more for a 6.3% increase to 203 cases.

Colorado has recorded a 13.6% increase in positive COVID-19 cases in the past week, compared to 17.3% the previous week and 18.4% the week before that.  

The Northeast Colorado Health Department reported Morgan County with 60 deaths, Logan County 41, Washington County nine, Yuma and Phillips counties three each and Sedgwick two.

Positive COVID-19 cases were reported Monday, Dec. 7, as follows:

­— Northeast Colorado: 5,390 cases (increase of 552 in the last week), including Morgan County, 1,818; Logan County, 2,575; Yuma County, 386; Washington County, 293; Phillips County, 203; and Sedgwick County, 115.
