Youth mental health first aid course to be held virtually

Centennial Mental Health Center will be hosting a cost-covered youth mental health first aid course virtually Tuesday, Jan. 12, from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. via secured Zoom. Similar to first aid and CPR, mental health first aid teaches individuals how to help youth experiencing mental health challenges or crises.

This course is ideal for adults who interact with youth. Participants will be required to complete a two-hour self-paced module prior to the four-hour instructor-led portion. Each participant will receive instructions on how to access each portion of the training.
