Award nominees to be honored at Feb. 8 gala
Holyoke Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating the accomplishments of community excellence award nominees at its annual gala Monday, Feb. 8, at 5:30 p.m. at the Phillips County Event Center. The evening will include dinner, door prizes, a wine tasting area and the announcement of the award winners.
The community was invited to submit nominations for New Business of the Year, Business of the Year, Employee of the Year, Youth of the Year, Outstanding Citizen of the Year and Outstanding Citizen of the Years.
In no particular order, nominees are Central Plains Equipment, Jake’s Feed, Holyoke Chamber of Commerce, Tuxedo Paws, Peerless Theatre, Phillips County Sheriff’s Office, 2020 Phillips County commissioners (Terry Hofmeister, Harlan Stern and Don Lock), Help Holyoke committee members (Tom Bennett, Brenda Brandt, Holly Ferguson and Trisha Herman), Joan Owens, Bob Heldenbrand, Tahlia Lambert, Allyn Robinson, Mardi Stewart, Jan Hewitt, Holyoke FCCLA chapter and #HolyokeEats youth delivery volunteers (Traeli and Jaxson Hutches).
