Blood drive is Friday

Nominate youth for scholarship

The Phillips County Economic Impact and Opportunity Scholarship is meant to award and recognize young individuals in Phillips County who have contributed to, have the desire to, or have fostered the overall economic growth, economic innovation, community development or entrepreneurial spirit of Phillips County.

Nominations can be made for any youth between the ages of 12-21 who reside in Phillips County. The deadline is Friday, April 23. Scholarship winners will be announced by the end of the school year and honored at Phillips County Economic Development’s annual meeting planned for late June.

Kindergarten preview day is April 14

Children who are planning to attend kindergarten in the 2021-22 school year are invited to visit Holyoke Elementary School on Wednesday, April 14, from 12:45-3:15 p.m.

Children must reach their 5th birthday by June 1, 2021, to be eligible for kindergarten.
