COVID-19 update
Positive COVID-19 cases were reported Monday, April 12, as follows:
— Northeast Colorado: 8,271 cases, an increase of 43 since last week’s report, including Morgan County, 2,562; Logan County, 3,865; Yuma County, 846; Washington County, 439; Phillips County, 353; and Sedgwick County, 206.
The Northeast Colorado Health Department reported Morgan County with a total of 93 COVID-19 deaths, Logan County 65, Yuma County 17, Washington County 12, Phillips County 13 and Sedgwick County two.
— Colorado: 479,590 cases in 64 counties, an increase of 10,602 since last week’s report, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
Among people in Colorado who tested positive for COVID-19, 6,303 have died, and 6,157 have listed COVID-19 as the reason of death on a death certificate. As of Monday, April 12, a total of 3,298,100 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Colorado.
