May 28 Cajun boil to benefit Gary Fiscus

Holyoke Gun Club is organizing a Cajun boil fundraiser for Gary Fiscus on Friday, May 28, at Phillips County Event Center with a social hour at 5 p.m., meal at 6:30 p.m., firearm drawings at 7:30 p.m. and the conclusion of a silent auction at 8 p.m. To purchase tickets or to donate items, call Aaron Schlachter at 970-580-4458 or Tracy Simpson at 970-520-3171.

 

Enterprise looking for people with cool hobbies

Exhibitors sought for Art in the Park

Art in the Park is set for Saturday, June 19, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Heginbotham Library. Exhibitors can register for a free space to display and/or sell items by calling 970-854-2597.

 

Free meals available for kids this summer

Through the Summer Food Service Program, free meals are being offered to kids and teens age 18 and younger from May 24-Aug. 6. Meals can be picked up Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Holyoke Elementary School. (Meals will not be available Monday, May 31, due to Memorial Day.) Participants do not need to be residents of Holyoke or have attended Holyoke School District to receive meals.

 

Last day of school is Friday

After completing morning classes Friday, May 21, students in Holyoke School District will happily begin their summer break.
