John Lappart

John Anton Lappart was born Oct. 7, 1946. He died May 12, 2021.

In John’s own words:

“I am from Holyoke, Colorado, a small farm town where I grew up playing and fishing. I spent a lot of time with my dad learning how to farm, and we were together a lot with 4-H and judging livestock.

“Later, I enjoyed my time working with construction and cement work because it kept me in shape.

“I was also a ski bum, spending lots of time in Aspen. When I wasn’t doing that, I was farming.”
