Arts council announces 2021-22 concert series

Phillips County Arts Council is pleased to announce the 2021-22 concert series. All of the concerts will be held at the Heginbotham Auditorium at Holyoke JR/SR High School.

The season will open Tuesday, Oct. 26, with The Everly Set: A Tribute to the Everly Brothers.

This show will take audience members back to 1957 when teens Phil and Don Everly first supercharged the vocal sound of rock ’n’ roll with sparking harmonies that influenced the Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, the Beach Boys, the Hollies and the Bee Gees.

Now, six decades later, two acclaimed New York City singer-songwriters combine millennial innocence with baby boomer pluck to present The Everly Set. With charted hits from 1957 to 1988, the show features many familiar classic songs such as “Bye, Bye Love,” “All I Have to Do Is Dream,” “When Will I Be Loved” and many more.
