Challengers 4-H Club

Challengers 4-H Club met Sunday, Sept. 12.   

Isaac Strauss was elected president; Jessie Owens, vice president; Aubrey Bieber, treasurer; Jayce Boerner, secretary; Mason Boerner, junior president; Haeden Daniel, reporter; and Laityn Bieber, photographer. Jayce Boerner and Aubrey Bieber will be on the 4-H council. The Cloverbuds will lead the pledge.

Many community service projects were discussed. The next meeting will be at Pumpkins and More A-maiz-ing Farm on Sunday, Oct. 17.  

Rainbow Explorers 4-H Club

At the Colorado State Fair, Shyanne Conde of Holyoke earned senior grand champion overall honors for clothing construction with her tan wool/camel hair coat.

As a result of the honor, she received a new Baby Lock sewing machine donated by First Stitches Sewing in Cañon City.
