Lions Club costume winners announced
Leo the Lions Club lion greeted animals, superheroes, scary creatures, theme show characters and more at the 70th annual Lions Club Halloween costume parade Sunday, Oct. 31.
After cancelling last year’s contest due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Lions Club members were glad to be able to host the event again this year.
Cash prizes were awarded for each age bracket, and all participants received a 50-cent piece, bag of candy and a special prize.
Winners in each age division follow:
Age under 1 — Logynn Schlachter (lamb), first; Weston Tharp (lion), second; and Declynn Redfern (Wonderwoman), third.
Age 1 — Draven Redfern (Spiderman), first.
Age 2 — Cort Tharp (tiger), first; Hadleigh Davis (baby shark), second; and Owen Ortner (Superman) and Hudson Borland (Dragon), tie for third.
